In Oregon, everyone is required to hold a boaters license. That cut WAY down on morons, but you still have idiots out there, that don't know the rules. Such as what a "No Wake Zone" is...or where a No Wake Zone is without being marked by buoys.

jet skis are way too easy to own and operate nowadays. all you do is sit pin the throttle and steer. i've ridden a sit down and they arent even fun, they are boring as hell.
